The SIMS 4 and the SIMS 5 as draft horses

In the new Sims 4-DLC you can prepare for the upcoming wedding season:
On the other hand, it could also say that the release of the Sims 5 is still many years away. Currently, Maxi's diligently writes job advertisements and advertises new employees who are to take care of the development of the fifth part.
This could mean that the Sims 5 is still in a very early stage of development, so a few years pass before we will hear something from the title. Until then, we have to expel the time with the coming DLCs from the Sims 4.
How long should the SIMS 4 should be supported in your opinion?
