Is Daredevil in the MCU?
The current four phase of the MCU has brought us many massive movies and new characters. But what about the Netflix series that started the fashion of the shows? We are here to answer if Daredevil is in the MCU .
Is Daredevil in the MCU?
Spoiler alert: There are Spoilers of Recent MCU properties ahead.
Yes, it seems that Daredevil is, in fact, part of the MCU. You will see, when Daredevil premiered in 2015, took off at Netflix and generated three other programs that shared a universe. With the final season in 2018 and the cancellation announced one month later, the fans wondered (and were worried) about the future of Charlie Cox's brilliant man without fear. This concern was even considering Marvel's insinuations on a return.
However, fortunately, 2021 saw two important revelations that seem to confirm that Daredevil is now definitely part of the MCU.
The first was the appearance of Vincent d'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk in the Hawkeye Disney + series. Vincent d'Onofrio himself confirmed that it was about the same character. The second largest confirmation was when Charlie Cox appeared as Matt Murdock at the beginning of Spider-Man: No Way Home, as well as showing the characteristic reflections of the character.
Nothing has been announced firmly, but only this month, Disney + took over Marvel Netflix programs, so there could be hope not only to return Daredevil, but also by Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. It remains to see where MCU could take Daredevil, but everything is possible with the next Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
