Cruise Gigant Crystal Cruises announces bankruptcy
The luxury shipping company Crystal Cruises is insolvent and therefore filed for bankruptcy. Already in January it was announced to stop the operation until April for money problems. As "TravelBook" reports, the creditors now do not want to pay the reorganization. Instead, the ships, three high-sea and five river cruise ships, are to be sold. The employees will probably be released. A ship was apparently confiscated due to unpaid fuel calculations in the Bahamas. The crew should be flown out in the coming days.
