Axiom Verge 2 announced, the change coming next year


The Metroidvania Indie Darling finally gets a continuation.

Although the indie area has been dominated by excellent metroidvania publications over the last ten years, excellent Metroid -inspirated axiom Verge is one of the best current metroidvania titles. Waiting for a sequel was long and unbearable, but eventually a continuation was actually announced at Nintendo's youngest indie-world presentation.

Axiom Verge 2 will include new characters, new skills and naturally new mechanics, but the details are currently pretty thin. The announcement trailer was pretty short, followed by a message from developer Thomas Happ. The trailer showed pride the pixel style style, the fans of the first game will recognize immediately, with many quite different environments, while we also received some interesting insights into the crossing and fighting. Axiom Verge 2 It is clear that it will be available for the Nintendo Switch, but whether other systems are also part of the start plans of the game has not yet been confirmed.
